I apologize, I know very little French (Francois) but I am trying to learn the language! I am the proud owner of 10 Thiers-Issard straight razors, a Supex 77 paddle strop made in France and some Martin de Candre Fougere savon rasage! I enjoy (amour) using French shaving razors and soaps as well as Belgian coticules (La Dresante and Les Latenueses).
Anyways, I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. My name is Aaron and I am 43 years old and I live near Dallas, Texas USA. I am joining this forum in the hopes of both getting to discuss and share my passion for traditional shaving and to learn the French (Francois) language! I look forward to getting to know you all and learning some new techniques and ideas to improve my shave and sharing the same with you all (we say "Y'all" in Texas, lol).

Yes, I am that same poster pn SRP, B&B, The Shave Den, Against The Grain Shaving, The Shaving Cadre and The Shaving Room.com UK!
I just love TI because of their style and high quality and artisan character. They are timeless. I'd love to learn more about French brands and have always wanted to try Institute Karite (?) products. Next time I'm in Paris I plan to visit Planete Rasoir both for a shave and to shop their fine selection of products, maybe even purchase a Martin de Candre brain bowl of either their original or Fougere or vetiver shaving soap (savon rasage)!
