My friend will be travelling to Monte Carlo/Monaco tomorrow. He is a chef and will be cooking for 5 days.\

Can you recommend me any place(s) where he can buy nice soaps/creams?


I currently use: Mama Bears, Cella and AOS Sandalwood. Merkur Slant.

Unfortunately I do not know Monte Carlo/Monaco, so I'm unable to tell you if shops specialised in shaving supplies can be found there. I guess your friend will have to search for inquiries after his arrival.
Thank you for the information regarding your shaving gear.
I am quite interested by the Merkur Slant (do you own the 37 or the 39 model?); maybe I'll buy one on a short term.

I printed a pictured of Monsavon soap and hopefully, my friend can bring some back!

@Wizzi, I have the 37c and the 39c. Both are fantastic. I have a tough beard and shave everyday and use both razors. I would recommend the 37c for anyone.

I used it this morning. Fantastique!

Thanks for your input as of the Merkur slants.
As regards Monsavon soap, you can find it in supermarkets so not necessarily in specialized stores.
